This policy explains what information BUILD IT (custombuildit.com, operated by jUSt Livin Custom Wood Works, Avondale, Arizona) collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed. If anything is unclear, email support@custombuildit.com.
1. What we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or anything from other apps. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data.
2. Cookies
We use one cookie, bi_session, to keep you signed in. It is essential to the Service and contains only a random session identifier. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may also store small conveniences (like a draft you haven't sent) on your own device.
3. Who else sees your information
We use a small number of service providers to run BUILD IT. Each receives only what it needs:

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else for marketing. We will disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of people or the Service.
4. How long we keep it
- Account and saved projects: as long as your account exists.
- Photos you upload: sent to the AI provider for that request and not stored on our servers afterward. Saved projects keep the text of your estimate, not the photo.
- Billing records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, typically seven years.
- Server logs: a short rolling window, typically under 30 days.
- Backups: our database is snapshotted daily; snapshots are kept for seven days and then deleted automatically.
5. Your choices and rights
- See or export your data: every saved project can be exported from the estimator as a file. For a copy of everything we hold about you, email us.
- Delete your account: email support@custombuildit.com from the address on the account. We delete the account, its projects, and usage records within 30 days; billing records are kept as noted above, and copies may persist in backups for up to seven further days.
- Correct something: email us.
- Marketing email: we currently send only account and billing email. If we ever start a newsletter it will be opt-in with an unsubscribe link.
If you are a California resident, the rights above cover what the CCPA calls access, deletion, and correction. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. If you are in the EU/UK, our legal basis is performance of our contract with you (to run the Service) and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6. Security
Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm. The database lives on an encrypted disk. Access is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
7. Children
BUILD IT is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders or post a notice on the Service before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
